1923, and Bali still reels from the aftermath of Puputan, the ritualistic suicide by the royal houses to defy the Dutch invaders. A Dutch industrialist wants to push a railway around the sacred Mount Agung. He engages two Swiss clock-makers to install an exquisitely crafted music box, hoping to win over the local King. But the music unleashes a demonic spirit, a victim of the Puputan, unleashing hell on the island paradise. The only hope is for the clock-makers to join forces with the wife of the Dutchman and fulfil the demon’s need for justice. They must not only risk the harmony of Bali but their very soul as they embark on a global quest for vengeance.
