A young American arrives in Bali for the first time to hire a tour guide, keeping hidden his reasons for his visit.
A grieving son visits Bali to fulfil his dying mother’s wish. On arrival, he hires Made, his mother’s choice as an expert guide to Bali’s beauty and people. But our young tourist sees little of value no matter how hard Made tries to satisfy him. He is preoccupied, trapped in the mystery of the identity of his father … but his Mom said he must listen to Made whilst in Bali and she never insisted on anything without good reason.
